Ready, Set, Go…. Fall is Coming. Time to Vaccinate!
As respiratory viruses become more prevalent during the fall and winter months, the importance of annual vaccinations is even more critical. COVID-19, influenza (flu), and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) pose significant health risks, especially for older adults and immunocompromised individuals. Vaccination remains one of the most effective and safest ways to build immunity and prevent serious illness, hospitalizations, and deaths.
Attend this learning event, led by the Great Plains QIN team, to discuss current vaccination recommendations, resources for hosting a vaccine clinic and tools to assist with vaccine hesitancy.
Make a plan to get your vaccines and encourage the importance of vaccines for those you care for. The best vaccine is the one you get. The priority is preventing severe disease among high-risk individuals, but staying up-to-date has secondary benefits for everyone!
